more problems--direct connect

Hello I now have found that its not only soft sample cell that isnt working properly. Absynth is not either. So, obviously, this is a problem with pro tools or direct connect. Any ideas? The midi is sent through OMS to softsample cell or absynth, it gets there but won't send signals back through direct connect! Anyone?

are you using the iac bus? and only one app is open at a time?

not iac bus--the soft sample cell buss in oms. you have your choice of 16 soaft sample cell busses. yes, just Pro tools and sample cell open.
