Placement of 001 PCI card

Is there a special order for placing the digi 001 card, and an Adaptec 2906 SCSI card for optimal performance?

place it in soapy water and let that settle for two hours...just kidding..but seriously, does it really make a difference?

it should be in the first PCI slot (the one nearest you when you open the mac up, if it's a G4 anyway). This is primarily due to the slots being prioritised. Em
