Reading MIDI Input data from old KORG Soundlink?

I have an old KORG Soundlink SL100C that someone gave me: The top part outputs midi so I'm looking for any software/way that I can plug it in to the pc and see what the incoming midi data is, if it works I'll hopefully be able to maybe map it out and use it as a controller. Does anyone know any intuitive software that will show what midi is coming in?

The MIDI Logger in Reaper's Fx Or insertpizhere's MIDI monitor.
