DC plug-in does not show up in Plug-in Menu. I can see it the plug-ins/plug-in settings window, but it will not show up in the pull down menu.I'm trying to route the Koblo demo through PTLE. It seems straight forward enough on the PDF manual. Also, when i go to the DRIVERS section of the Koblo synth, i cannot get Direct Connect to show up as an option (only MAS, Direct I/0 or Sound Manager. Maybe it's a trashing prefs thingy?? haze
DC is not in the Digirack, it's in the Beta something folder on the 5.0.1 installer CD or available as a free download from Digi. As for the drivers in Tokyo, you need version 2.5, it should be in somekind of 3rd party support folder. Excuse me if I'm being a bit vague about the folders name, I dabbled only a bit with it some weeks ago, but once you have all drivers and plug-ins (including the digi stream manager extension ) you should follow the instructions without any problems, I remember it took me a matter of minutes before succeeding.... Good luck !!!!
Sorry, I just reread your message and realized my info was almost out of topic!!! I seem to remember that once everything is installed correctly, DC will not show up in the pull-down window, but Tokyo will, and this will open as DC. Hope I'm right and that this helps, I think I'll get back to it myself, try to do the click track trick ( say that really fast !) I just read in another thread...
Haze, I have almost no idea what we're talking about here, but I do remember reading that you need to set up a stereo aux track to see the plug-in, it won't show up on a mono audio track. There are instructions/hints/tips in a thread called "internal click revealed."
The instructions are in the DigiRack Plug-Ins Guide, in the chapter named DirectConnect. Page 53 of the printed manual, page 57 of the pdf. ------------------ Bruce Paine Digidesign
By the way, Koblo (i mean everyone at Koblo) is on vacation right. Pretty funny. The company i work for (a printing co.) bought a Danish printing press. Unfortunately, we had problems with the press, but, couldn't get any help because the whole company was on vacation. Must be a Danish thing. Anyway, any info on the Tonemill would be greatly appreciated. haze
Koblo is currently working on Tonemill, but haven't announced a release date. There is thread on their User Forum (or phorum, Subject:*tonemill) in the Support section of that contains about as much info as I have at this time. ------------------ Bruce Paine Digidesign
