Hey Wolffman! I've not heard the 2c verb, but I did end up getting Valhalla Room. I've used Epic Verb extensively as well as several other algo verbs. I think Valhalla is the best I've heard so far. As other's have mentioned, the tails sound lush right down to silence. The verbs are generally very smooth and "clear." Also, Valhalla seems very editable, though its been a bit of learning curve for me after getting so used to Epic. The interface is very straight forward, but just different. And after getting so used to how I could make Epic sound, it is going to take a little more time learning how to fit Valhalla's "tones" into my mixes. If you're interested in some more in depth information on Valhalla, they recently hosted an interview with it's creator on The Home Recording Show. The guy sounds like a real dsp guru, and someone who really loves his work!

I also still use Oxford Reverb. Reminds me of the Sony R7 verb

Reaverb is good, especially with ZL&LL-settings, I can use it with my i7 as a "live" reverb. How do you make a predelay with reaverb BTW?

Well... i bought CSR, i figured i might as well while its on sale, i can always get valhalla room later if i find the need. Next week i'll have a couple of songs to mix so i'll be using csr on them. Since starting this thread i've dug a lot deeper into the version of CSR hall i have and i really started to understand how it works and i'm a lot happier with the results i'm getting. Cheers

IK multimedia has more aggressive sales people than 2caudio or Valhalla. However, everybody knows that IK are not even in the reverb game any more since Aether and Valhalla. They are a business who needs to sell as many licenses as they can muster. Nothing sounds as awesome and creamy as Valhalla IMO. Don't be a fool, use your own ears for proof. Nobody can tell me that CSR can hold a candle to Valhalla or 2cAudio because I have ears. Then again, I don't work for IK multimedia so I'm sort of biased.
